LAURA’S BIO
Laura has over 30 years of experience leading, advising, motivating and mentoring others. She began her career as a second lieutenant and Distinguished Graduate of Air Force ROTC upon earning a B.S. in Psychology from Colorado State University. In her first assignment at NORAD and U.S. Space Command, she was selected to present the daily intelligence briefing to the commander (four star general) and his senior staff. She subsequently held key advisory positions within intelligence 24-hour watch centers, counter-narcotics joint commands, inspector general travel teams, war-fighting commands, and served on a variety of staffs as executive assistant, senior advisor for Colonel/General officer assignments/professional development, and Chief, U.S. House of Representatives Legislative Liaison Office. Additionally, Laura was a Distinguished Graduate of a post-graduate leadership course in 1989, earned an MBA in 1993, and an M.S. from National Defense University in 2001.
Laura retired as a Colonel after serving for twenty-two years and began working as an independent senior consultant to private firms, Fortune 500 companies, and non-profits for matters of defense, intelligence, cyberspace, career/professional development, marketing, strategic planning, legislative liaison, and executive-level presentation skills.
Laura is a graduate of the Christian Coach Institute (CCI) where she earned her
Certified Professional Life Coach (CPLC) and Group Coaching Mastery credentials.
Laura subsequently served as graduate assistant to the CCI president and founder and also as a coach to model Christian life coaching to students in training for their CPLC.
